Privacy and cookies
offyougo sets no cookies and keeps no personal data about you. There is no account to make and nothing to accept.
What we count
To learn what people look for, the site records, anonymously: which page was shown, which site sent you (its name only), whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer, what you picked in "Plan a trip" (who, month, interest), which links to other sites you followed, and errors in the page so we can fix them. A random number that lives only as long as your browser tab ties one visit's pages together; it is not a cookie and is gone when you close the tab.
We do not record your IP address, your browser's full details, your location or anything that identifies you. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, nothing is recorded at all. The records are kept for 13 months and are read only by the site's owner.
The site may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies or fingerprinting.
Other sites your browser talks to
- Cloudflare serves the site. Like any web host it sees your IP address to send you the pages.
- Wikimedia Commons serves the photos, so it sees your IP address when a photo loads. Each photo credits its author and licence.
- Supabase stores the anonymous counts above, and the owner's sign-in for the review pages.
Fonts are served by offyougo itself. Links to other sites (a place's website, OpenStreetMap) take you there under their own privacy terms.
